If you visit Goreme in summer period, it’s recommended to be there in the early morning. Then you can get to the area as soon as it opens at 08:00. The Goreme Open Air Museum get more crowded towards the noon. Besides it gets too hot. It may not be so comfortable to walk around a vast landscape under the boiling sun.

Goreme Museum Opening Hours
Goreme Museum is open to visit from 08:00 to 19:00 during the high season. High Season starts in 1st of April and lasts until 1st of October. The museum closes earlier in the low season.
